A Woman’s Worth
Group’s summer releases focus on helping women build stronger, closer relationships with Jesus and with each other.
Dallas/Fort Worth—Whether planning a retreat, Bible study or devotional,
Group Publishing has long been known as the go-to center for ministry
leadership resources. With preparations underway for the summer release
of three new resources designed specifically for women, it is clear Group
does not intend to disappoint in the future.
With
the release of Café Chocolat on May 1,Group will be introducing a singularly sweet package providing everything necessary to plan and lead an
affordable, hassle-free and life-changing retreat for women in the
church and community. Even down to its name, the retreat kit is
designed to bring honor to God. “We chose to use chocolate as a
metaphor for God’s grace,” explained Amy Nappa, who heads up the adult
ministry resources team for Group. “Those participating will taste
God’s goodness through in-depth Bible study, unforgettable worship and
a host of fun activities designed to help them slow down, enjoy their
time together and grow closer to Jesus.”
In
June, Group will continue its focus on women through the release of This Means Love: Service
Projects for Women Who Want to Make a Difference. This easy-to-use kit offers plans for 12 different projects ranging in scope from helping the homeless to caring for the elderly and comforting the grief-stricken. Bringing together all the components needed for a small group of women to easily plan and execute these simple service projects, the This Means Love service kit is great for women of all ages who want to join together to make a difference in their communities by spreading love to those around them.
“This kit works well in conjunction with the This Means Love Bible study,” said Nappa. “The study provides a biblically-based format to help women understand what it means to serve, how that service affects our faith and what exactly the Bible tells us about serving others.”
Group
Publishing understands that women can change other women’s lives. That
understanding has become a basic premise evident in every retreat,
Bible study and women’s ministry resource Group provides, including
their newest curriculum, Where
Moms Connect, scheduled for release in July. Specifically
designed to bring moms of all ages and stages together, this newest kit
creates an opportunity for them to connect through discussion,
faith-based conversations and having fun.
Created
as an annual program kit, Where
Moms Connect provides a group leader with everything
necessary to guide a group through 18 twice-monthly meetings. Written
to uplift and inspire, the content offered in this year’s theme, A Year of Encouragement, will
leave moms feeling better prepared to handle the constant challenges
that motherhood presents.
About
Group Publishing: Far more than just a publisher of
Christian ministry resources, Group Publishing is dedicated to offering
products for group settings designed to help grow the participant’s
relationship with Jesus. With a team made up of ministry experts known
the world over, the company has a solitary mission to help church
ministries succeed. From kids’ crafts to teen mission trips and from
women’s retreats to men’s Bible studies, everything that Group offers is
designed to bring participants closer to God.
Pursuing
his dream to offer better tools for leading teens to Christ, Group
Publishing founder Thom Schultz began the company in 1974 with the launch
of GROUP Magazine,
a resource periodical designed specifically for youth leaders, soon
making Group’s name synonymous with youth ministry. It was not long
afterward that Group decided to branch off into creating resources for
children’s ministry. Soon the company was providing innovative VBS and
children’s Sunday school programs and had successfully introduced Children’s Ministry Magazine.
From there, creating resource materials for men’s and women’s ministries
seemed a natural progression. Today, Group Publishing is recognized as a
leader in the publishing of Christian resource materials for every age.
